You will be able to interact with characters and things once your mother stops her dialogue with Crystalkit. If you are unhappy with your gender, press flag again, and you will be switched to the other gender. Leaving your name blank will generate a random prefix that is limited to your looks (such as Tiny or Silver). Type in something like Bird or Leaf or something natural because you're name will eventually become like Birdsong or Leafheart. If you don't understand Warrior Cats, you are given a prefix that you will keep throughout all your ranks, but your suffix will change.
